A Yummy, Vegan Recipe

Hello everyone. 🙂

Today I am sharing a tasty, vegan recipe that I have enjoyed. I hope that this recipe will be enjoyed by others. 🙂

Peanut Meat

1/3 cup soy or oat flour*

2 cups of water

1 1/2 cups of dry roasted peanuts

1/2 cup cornmeal

1 tsp. salt

4 tsp Bragg Liquid Aminos or an additional 1/4 tsp. salt

paprika optional

Blend peanuts smooth with one cup of the water, then empty into a mixing bowl. Rinse the blender with the remaining water and add to the bowl.

Stir together all ingredients, except the paprika, and pour into an eight by eight-inch baking dish that has been oiled. Sprinkle with paprika if preferred.

Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes.

May be sliced and served in a sandwich, cubed and put in a salad or cubed then combined with cooked rice and gravy in a casserole dish and reheated to serve.

Note: Oat flour may be made by blending quick or rolled oats into a coarse flour.

I copied this recipe from “The Journal of Health and Healing, Volume 26, Number 3.” I would like to encourage you all to check out more recipes from “The Journal of Health and Healing” here.

I hope that everyone who can enjoy this recipe will be able to (I know that many people have peanut allergies), and I also want to invite you all to stay tuned for my next blog post which will be on Bible prophecy.

Blessings and courage to all. 🙂 Let’s keep our chins up. 🙂 Jesus’ love is forever.

I’m just a young lady who is journeying through life with Jesus. I have much to learn and unlearn and I’m so grateful to be able to be guided by God in my growing process. I desire to learn and grow forever. May I never find a complacent, stopping point! As long as I continue to humbly walk with God, I will forever be His work in progress (adapted from the "About" page on my blog learnandgrow4ever.com).
