Happy Father’s Day to all of the fathers. 🙂
This is the first Father’s Day I’ve had without my paternal grandfather (he passed away several months ago.) While we were never very close, we had a loving relationship and we made some good memories together. I’ve decided to dedicate this blog post to remembering him. I hope that this tribute to him will be a blessing to you all.
My Tribute To My Late Grandfather
My grandfather was a social man whom my father says seemed to be able to get along with almost anyone. I knew my grandfather to be a cheerful and positive person. He had a robust voice and he liked to make emphatic, affirming statements.
My grandfather cared deeply about his children and grandchildren, and he showed this care in some amazing ways which my family and I will never forget and for which we are very grateful. My grandfather most definitely loved his family.
In addition to the big things my grandfather did for his family, he was good at remembering birthdays: he made sure to send birthday cards every year. He also sent some old photos to my household (they may have been to me personally, but I don’t remember for sure) which I am grateful to have.
My grandfather lived an interesting life. He had a career that, from what I know, he found meaningful. During his life, he traveled to several different places in the world and he engaged in many different activities. He was also a good artist and he made some nice paintings. Above all, though, my grandfather valued relationships. Family meant so much to him.
My grandfather has left his mark on the world and now he sleeps in the grave. While I am not sure how much of a relationship my grandfather had with Jesus, I hope to see him in heaven when Jesus comes. ❤ He lived a life that was full of love and he showed Jesus to his family through words and actions. I was blessed to have known my grandfather.
To all of the fathers, grandfathers, great-grandfathers, uncles, and male role models: Happy Father’s Day. 🙂 May God bless all of you and may He help you all to leave legacies that inspire those who look up to you.
Blessings. 🙂
I hope that you all have enjoyed this blog post, and I hope that you all will stay tuned for my next blog post which will be about Bible Prophecy.
Take care. 🙂
