You Can Have Peace

God spoke to my heart recently, and I want to share with you what He shared with me.

The peace that God is offering us is supernatural. This peace is not dependent on our circumstances and/or on the behaviors of the people around us.

This peace is found from the relationship that we have with God. It is a God-given and God maintained peace. We receive it by surrendering to and cooperating with God consistently.

I’m not saying that I have arrived. I am still on the journey toward consistently living with God’s peace, but I have seen something beautiful and I want it, and I believe that I, and all of us, can have it.

Perhaps there will be times of difficulty in our lives when we really don’t have peace-even while in a completely surrendered and cooperating relationship with God. But, I sense that we will still have a kind of peace even during these times: a peace that enables us to trust God, and to selflessly love others-even when our circumstances and experiences do not seem to be working in our favor.

I’m just a young lady who is journeying through life with Jesus. I have much to learn and unlearn and I’m so grateful to be able to be guided by God in my growing process. I desire to learn and grow forever. May I never find a complacent, stopping point! As long as I continue to humbly walk with God, I will forever be His work in progress (adapted from the "About" page on my blog learnandgrow4ever.com).
