Hello everyone. šŸ™‚

In today’s blog post, I share some suggestions for foods you may want to try. There are so many different varieties of fruits, nuts, grains, beans, and vegetables, and it can be a pleasure to explore the various tastes that exist in the world.

Today, I am recommending some grains and nut butters that are less common. I’m not selling anything nor am I sponsored by any company. I’ve just decided to make some suggestions for less common foods that I personally enjoy.

Not every taste and texture appeals to every palate, and that is quite alright. It’s a blessing that God has created a variety of tastes and textures…and a variety of people who reveal part of their individuality and uniqueness through their different preferences for the plethora of foods that He has created.

Let’s now explore some of the variety that can be found in grains and nuts.

Nut butters:

In addition to peanut butter, which is loved by many, myself included, there is cashew butter, almond butter, sunflower butter, and tahini.*

Grains:

In addition to wheat, corn, and rice, there is quinoa, buckwheat, millet, teff, and amaranth.

And now, in closing, here is your invitation to an opportunity to stretch your horizons and do some culinary research and experimentation! šŸ™‚

Whether you accept this invitation or not, Bon Appetit!

*(tahini is a butter made from sesame seeds: it’s a bit bitter and may become a favorite as a result of an acquired taste for some, or many, people. I enjoy it. šŸ™‚ )

I’m just a young lady who is journeying through life with Jesus. I have much to learn and unlearn and I’m so grateful to be able to be guided by God in my growing process. I desire to learn and grow forever. May I never find a complacent, stopping point! As long as I continue to humbly walk with God, I will forever be His work in progress (adapted from the "About" page on my blog learnandgrow4ever.com).
