I Found Something Good! :) part 2

Hello everyone! I hope that you all are hanging in there, keeping your chins up and thinking about how much Jesus loves us all.

Today, I am sharing a short video about a man and his dog that touched my heart. I love how, in this video, we can see that the dog’s love for her owner hadn’t changed-even after not seeing him for six years. I love how God shows us His loyal, steadfast love through our furry friends.

I have such good memories of the times when my family’s dog Zion (whom we no longer have) ministered to my soul. On many evenings, I would let him into the area of our house where he was allowed and sit on the floor. He would come, lie down on my lap and just snuggle. Sometimes, when he was sitting upright, I would put my hands on his cheeks and just stare into his brown eyes. Zion showed me God’s love. He loved me no matter what- even when I was sad, tired and not very interesting to be with. He just loved me. My prayer is that God would help all of us to love each other like this. If we were all as loyal, steadfast and forgiving as many dogs are, the world would be a better place.

Note: Loyal, steadfast and forgiving love is also wise love which does what is truly best in each interpersonal situation. If you are in an abusive situation, please do the loving thing, which is to reach out for help. Here is a resource for people who are victims in abusive situations and also for abusive people who want to changehttps://www.thehotline.org/ (this paragraph was adapted from and pasted from one of my YouTube videos)

Many blessings to you all. 🙂 If you are a dog owner, I hope that you will take some time today to think about the ways in which God is showing you His love through your pet.

Blessings and courage. 🙂

I’m just a young lady who is journeying through life with Jesus. I have much to learn and unlearn and I’m so grateful to be able to be guided by God in my growing process. I desire to learn and grow forever. May I never find a complacent, stopping point! As long as I continue to humbly walk with God, I will forever be His work in progress (adapted from the "About" page on my blog learnandgrow4ever.com).
