Hello everyone. š
I hope that today’s blog-post will bring smiles to faces and inspiration to hearts. š God cares about our everyday lives! He is such a kind and loving God.
Several months ago, my computer began malfunctioning in a strange way. My arrow highlighted and clicked on things that I was neither trying to highlight nor click. Various applications randomly popped up. In short, my computer couldn’t be used for any practical purpose. When I called tech support, I was disappointed to hear that there wasn’t too much that could be done for my computer, and that I would probably have to buy a new one. But God disagreed. Strangely and miraculously, my very much malfunctioning computer eventually started working again! God is amazing.
I had to get another computer with certain specifications for a potential work opportunity, and I have been enjoying this computer ever since. While travelling by plane, a little over a month ago, I had an interesting experience which eventually created a situation which allowed God’s power to be shown once more. Although my computer was in a small suitcase which was supposed to be a carry on bag, shortly before I boarded my first plane, I was asked if anything I had with me had lithium batteries in it. I responded that I wasn’t sure, but I had a smartphone and a computer with me. The gentleman allowed me to take the smartphone on board with me, but instructed me to pass on my carry on bag with the computer in it to someone who would put it under the plane for me. I willingly complied.
When I landed at the second airport in my journey, I, along with many others, stood on a boardwalk of sorts where we waited for our carry on luggage items to be brought back to us. We were able to watch the bags coming out of the plane, and being loaded onto a large, sturdy cart. As I watched, I noticed that all of the bags were being thrown out of the plane. Sure enough, my pink suitcase, with my computer in it, was also thrown out of the plane. It landed on the conveyor belt, and was then loaded onto the large cart. After the cart was brought to us, we all retrieved our luggage and went into the airport.
Sometime after I arrived at my final destination, I began to notice that my computer was making clicking sounds when I would open and close tabs, and also when I would shut off my computer. I didn’t think much of these sounds, for some time, especially as my computer was working as well as ever. Then, one night, as I was getting out of bed, I accidentally kicked the desk my computer was resting on; it fell off of the desk and onto the carpet. This scared me. I became more tuned in to the clicking sounds, and I also was concerned that my computer’s fans were malfunctioning (it turns out that they weren’t. Praise God!)
I called tech support, and thankfully, the worse case scenarios were ruled out. It was still recommended that I get my computer checked out though, in order to ensure that everything was okay after the falls that the device had sustained. Then, after I told my grandmother what the charge for getting my computer checked out would be, and when she considered that my computer was working just fine, she suggested that I hold off on sending it in.
This was good advice, because what I didn’t know was that God had already planned to fix my computer Himself, once again. Somewhere down the line, the clicking noises went away…they are completely gone! My computer works as well as ever. God is so kind!
While I’m sure that God doesn’t always fix computers in this way, He most definitely has the ability to do so, and when it will be best for us, He will do so. God is mighty, all powerful, loving, and interested in our daily lives. There is much to thank Him for.
Thank You so much, dear Heavenly Father, for Your love and kindness. Thank You for taking an interest in our lives: in both the big things and the small things. Thank You for being so merciful to us. Thank You.
In Jesus’ Name Amen
