God’s Gift of Nature

Hello everyone. 🙂 Today’s blog post is short and sweet:

I appreciate nature. There is a refreshing peacefulness and a restfulness that can be experienced while in the great outdoors. Sometimes our lives become complex, but being outside can provide us with an opportunity to experience greater simplicity.

Although sin has left its mark even in the natural world around us, we can still see God’s signature in nature. We can see His eye for beauty in the lovely flowers and singing birds. Through watching the loving and playful interactions between animals, we can sense something about the joy and affection that God intended for all of us to experience in healthy, safe relationships with others. There are many lessons about God that can be learned from nature.

Whether you’re feeling stressed and tired, or relaxed and rested, or hyper and energetic, why don’t you spend some time in God’s great outdoors this weekend? God has blessings in store for us as we experience the natural beauty He has created for us to enjoy. Here is a beautiful song, sung out in nature, that talks about how being in nature can make one amazed by how incredible God is (in the first verse).

I hope that this simple blog post has been a blessing to you. I invite you to stay tuned for my next blog post in my “Bible Prophecy Studies” series. This blog post will be on Daniel 11.

Blessings. 🙂

I’m just a young lady who is journeying through life with Jesus. I have much to learn and unlearn and I’m so grateful to be able to be guided by God in my growing process. I desire to learn and grow forever. May I never find a complacent, stopping point! As long as I continue to humbly walk with God, I will forever be His work in progress (adapted from the "About" page on my blog learnandgrow4ever.com).
