Note: I chose this picture because having a big, strong, loving daddy makes a child feel protected. This post is about the power of God to save us from the sins in our heart.
Good morning, everyone.
In this blogpost, I want to encourage all of us with the great power of God to defend us from some of our worst enemies: our own internal temptations.
“…Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength.
Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.
For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.
Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.
He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.
I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for it is good.
For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies.” Psalm 54:1-7 ( KJV)
I am impressed that our biggest enemies are really our own temptations to do things that don’t please Him. I desire God to fight against these temptation enemies and I trust and praise God for what He is doing and what He yet will do to help me.
I want to encourage you all to join me in talking with God about every struggle we face-including our internal battles. He has the power to fight against and overcome our internal enemies and give us victory and freedom in Him!
Blessings and courage to all.

Yes He is our Defender because of Jesus
