Jesus: Who He Is and How to Know Him: Introduction

Jesus is kind and welcoming. John 6:37

I love Jesus. Never in my life have I ever met anyone who compares to Him. He has done and continues to do so much in my life. It is my heartfelt desire and decision to continue growing in my relationship with Him.

I am learning more and more that it is not safe for me to put my complete confidence in people. Through it all, Someone has been showing Himself to be “the same yesterday and today and forever” Hebrew 13:8 . Jesus is completely loving, completely powerful, completely wise and completely perfect. He never fails anyone.

It is my passion and deepest desire to know Him more and more intimately. So many things have (at least apparently) gone wrong in my life, but He has never gone wrong. He gives me joy, peace, hope and courage. When the world is upside now, He is still right-side up. I appreciate Jesus.

In this series, I will be focusing on Jesus. He came to earth and became our Perfect example and what a wonderful Savior He is! As I look around me, and as I look at myself, I realize that there never has been a more amazing Person on earth than Him. In addition to being tender and affectionate, Jesus is also strong, wise and decisive. He has an incredible, balanced and beautiful character. He is worth knowing and He changes everyone who knows and accepts Him: He changes them and makes their characters beautiful…wonderfully beautiful. For the next month, I will be blogging about Jesus and about how to have a relationship with Him. I am looking forward to growing myself as I think and write about Him. I hope that you will stay tuned and join me on this journey to knowing Him better.

Blessings. 🙂

I’m just a young lady who is journeying through life with Jesus. I have much to learn and unlearn and I’m so grateful to be able to be guided by God in my growing process. I desire to learn and grow forever. May I never find a complacent, stopping point! As long as I continue to humbly walk with God, I will forever be His work in progress (adapted from the "About" page on my blog learnandgrow4ever.com).
